Takbir Hossain

Takbir Hossain is the main founder of the Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society. Currently he is doing his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Georgia. Before that He had completed his Bsc and Msc in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong.
I envision a future where Bangladeshi students rise to global prominence by embracing research as a fundamental part of their education. Through CURHS, we are building a research culture that empowers our students to engage with the world's most pressing challenges. My dream is for our young minds to transform Bangladesh by preparing themselves to innovate, lead, and make meaningful contributions on the world stage while staying rooted in the values and spirit of our nation.

Mahmud Shareef

Mahmud Shareef the current President of CURHS, is now pursuing his M.Sc in Chemistry at the University of Chittagong. He also completed his B.Sc from the same department.
I have always believed that CURHS is a public platform aiming to bring substantial changes to the research and education culture by introducing creative and innovative ideas and initiatives, ensuring a ‘learning by doing’ process. Iqbal Hossain Nafiz, the former Vice President of CURHS, is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Biochemical Technology, Department of Chemical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Chittagong.
