CURHS is a student organization dedicated to promoting research and higher education. Founded in 2019, it has grown to reach over 100,000 students and offers various programs like internships and seminars to support aspiring researchers.

First Formal Meeting

First formal meeting about forming a new community to provide resources and support for the students interested in research and higher study from the University of Chittagong. The initiative will organize workshops, seminars, and networking events to help students achieve their academic goals.

March, 2020

First Executive Committee Meetup

After the First Formal Meeting, Founding Members called interested students for a meetup beside science faculty to discuss about the formation of CURHS.

First Member Recruitment

Member Recruitment at Zero Point in the year 2022 and it was our first official Member Recruitment for Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society.

Monthly Meeting of March, 2022

This meeting is conducted by General Secretary, where the club President, Vice-President and all of Executive and some associate members were present .There some topics is discussed such as planning for our upcoming conference, closing ceremony of Research Month Workshop-2022 and evolution of members activities etc.

February 19, 2022

3rd Anniversary Celebration

On February 19, 2022, the CURHS organized a felicitation program and award ceremony at Kazir Deuri, Chittagong to celebrate its 3rd founding anniversary and entry into its fourth year. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al Faruk, Director of the Research and Publication Department, Chittagong University, moderator Adnan Mannan, deputy moderator Kazi Tanvir, other faculty moderators, and club members.

This was the first Executive Board of the Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society, which was introduced at the Club's 3rd Anniversary Celebration.

4th anniversary of CURHS, a name that we bore within our hearts since 2019. And it won't be an exaggeration to say that this name has now become a benchmark in the domain of research and higher study platforms, a beacon of hope to countless undergrad students of Bangladesh.

Charuivati of CURHS

A day-long Charuibhati event was organized on Saturday in the presence of the members of the CURHS. With spontaneous participation in various events, the day turned out to be enjoyable for everyone. At the end of the program, the CURHS family paid special tribute to Takbir Hossain, the founding president of CURHS.

5th Anniversary Celebration

A thrilling anniversary event was arranged to commemorate this special day. We had the honor of having the prestigious Prof. Dr. Gabriele Murry with us on this momentous occasion. Prof. Gabriele graced our event with an insightful session on “Academia in Germany”. The valuable session was focused on the prospects for pursuing higher studies in Germany.

50K Member Celebration

On 5th Sept. 2022, we reached the milestone of '50K MEMBERS' in our Facebook group. To celebrate this achievement, CURHS arranged a small 'Get Together' at Chittagong University Museum premises, with all the Executive Committee Members and General Members of the organisation.
