The Chattogram Research Festival -2023 was organized on February 27, 2023, to commemorate the birthday of renowned scientist Jamal Nazrul Islam and promote research in Chittagong.

The 2022 Jamal Nazrul Islam Conference in Bangladesh, inspired by Queensland University, featured 524 young researchers from 3,000 applicants, promoting innovation organized by CURHS and JNIRCMPS.

CURHS organized a "Reception of Scholars of 2023" on July 31, 2023, to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Chittagong University students who were accepted into prestigious universities and research programs abroad.
