The Chattogram Research Festival -2023 was organized on February 27, 2023, to commemorate the birthday of renowned scientist Jamal Nazrul Islam and promote research in Chittagong.

| JNINC FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS 2022

The 2022 Jamal Nazrul Islam Conference in Bangladesh, inspired by Queensland University, featured 524 young researchers from 3,000 applicants, promoting innovation organized by CURHS and JNIRCMPS.

| GENOMICS & BIOINFORMATICS FOR MOLECULAR DIAGNOSIS

A masterclass on genomics and bioinformatics was held today, May 26, 2023, jointly organized by the CURHS and the DBME. The aim of this event was to explore disease monitoring at the molecular level.

The Astronomy Talks and Sky Observation, organized by CURHS and Durbin, introduced students to the wonders of the cosmos. Through hands-on stargazing, the event successfully sparked students' interest in astronomy.

CURHS organized a "Reception of Scholars of 2023" on July 31, 2023, to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Chittagong University students who were accepted into prestigious universities and research programs abroad.

CURHS is organizing a "Summer Research Internship 2.0" to promote research and higher study. This program will offer students the opportunity to gain research experience under the guidance of renowned researchers.

| WORKSHOP ON ‘WRITING A RESEARCH PAPER’

CURHS held a 4-day workshop series on "Writing a Research Paper" to foster a stronger research culture among students. The workshops covered scientific journal writing, literature review, statistical analysis, and publishing.

The Corona epidemic emphasized research. Lab and public health research were vital. On March 22, 2022, CURHS partnered with others to organize a workshop on "Public Health Research Methods" at Chittagong Sunshine College.

Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society (CURHS) has organized a program titled “Research Month 2022” on January 30, 2022 with the aim of nurturing young researchers in the light of modern education.
